A Message from Maria Caccaviello, Berkshire Carousel Director
As we prepare for the joyous season of family and friends, let us take a moment to reflect on the wondeful accomplishments of our project.

The holiday season is a time to reflect on our accomplishments and highlight our priorities. A ripple of goodwill has spread across the county because we stayed together and made it happen. Yes we have achieved and exceeded all expectations to provide our Berkshire Community with a carousel, a fabulous work of art and a coming together of people from all walks of life to make it happen.
As we close the year we look forward to the journey that lies ahead. We will together advance our achievements as we turn the switch on to the next hundred years. I thank each of you a million times because no other project is a better example of working together and giving back to our community than the Berkshire Carousel.
Maria

The Pittsfield High School Classes of 1962 and 1967 each held reunion events at the Berkshire Carousel workshop in September. The music group Deja Vu with David Grover, Mike Sacco and Puggy Demary played music of the 50s, 60s and 70s and classmate Sally Davis, lead in three high school musicals, led the classmates in the theme song from the TV kids show of the times, Freddy Freihofer Show. Breakfast and lunch items, mimosas and Bloody Marys were provided. Classmates got tours of the project and participated in trivia games and raffles. Prizes were music and DVDs of the 50s and 60s. Pictures are included below. The class of 1967 held its 45th reunion cocktail hour on the following Friday September 14th which was attended by 25.
